Throughout 2009, GolfDay.co.uk hosted 'The Race to Loch Lomond', an exciting competition open to any
amateur golfer.
For the affordable rate of just £40 an event, golfers played at top venues with prizes available. Over the 6 events (1 per month), there was an ongoing order of merit system.
With double order of merit points up for grabs at the final event, the pressure was heightened. The eventual winners
of the Order of Merit were Liam Jeffrey and Reece Cranfield (pictured above). Liam and Reece will now enjoy an all
expenses paid trip to the fantastic De Vere Carrick Golf Complex at Loch Lomond. They will be accompanied by
GolfDay.co.uk PGA Professionals John Cheetham and Philip Newnes who will be offering tuition throughout the trip.
GolfDay.co.uk would like to thank all the golfers who competed in the events and is looking forward to hosting the 2010
series!
Please visit the website to see the new 2010 series dates and venues.
Special thanks also to our photograher Brian Ardrey. Please enjoy the selection of images below taken by Brian over
the 6 events.
