Belton Woods is a top quality golfing venue set in beautiful Lincolnshire countryside. It offers two
contrasting 18 hole courses, a 9 hole par 3 course and excellent facilities that you would expect from a De
Vere resort.
The Lakes Course
The aptly named Lakes course features some spectacular water features which come into play on numerous
holes. Four holes on the back nine involve challenging approach shots over the lake. This is the longer of the
two courses measuring 6831 yards from the white tee. The tree lined fairways are flat and generally narrow.
The large greens are excellent with subtle breaks that will challenge even the best putters. They can be very
fast in the summer. The 18th is a great finishing hole with a final approach shot made over a fountain in
front of the green and clubhouse.
18 Holes Par 72, Yardage 6831. Parkland.
Woodside Course
The Woodside is arguably the more picturesque of the two courses with some lovely views of the countryside. Despite
being shorter than The Lakes course it is still a good test. The position of ditches and newly introduced pot bunkers
require your course management to be on top form. The signature hole has to be the stroke index 2, 17th with lovely
views of the lake from the tee. Although only 353 yards, two very accurate shots are required to make this green and
preserve a good score. The par 5, 18th is also a lovely finishing hole with the green tucked behind a large lake. The
greens can be very fast but are excellent and run true.
